If you're getting a cat sitter for your precious baby, make sure you leave VERY clear instructions about when they've last been fed. Otherwise, your sneaky little feline will have that poor person convinced they haven't seen a single piece of kibble in days. They'll pull out the saddest meows, stare longingly at their empty-ish bowl, and put on an Oscar-worthy performance until someone gives in. Before you know it, your kitty has successfully scored themselves a second breakfast.

Song of its people
via @SardineYoghurt -
The second a cat spots even the tiniest empty space in their food bowl, it's time to sing the song of their people. And boy, do they have some serious vocals. Suddenly, the entire house is treated to a meow-sical performance that won't end until their human comes running to fix this terrible injustice. Who needs an alarm clock when you've got a hungry feline ready to belt out their greatest hits at 6 AM? Breakfast is served, or the concert continues!

There's nothing quite like a cat screaming for food, only to look absolutely shocked when you point out that there's already some sitting in their bowl. They'll give it a suspicious sniff, stare at you like you've personally offended them, and then walk away without taking a single bite. Excuse us, wasn't this an emergency approximately 30 seconds ago? Apparently, having food and actually wanting to eat it are two very different things when you're a picky little feline.
